Huangfu Yigeng, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Northwestern Polytechnical University, currently serves as the director of the Shaanxi International Science and Technology Cooperation Center for New Energy and Hybrid Power, executive vice chairman of the Shaanxi Power Supply Society, IEEE Senior Member, and chairman of the IEEE IES Technical Committee on Transportation Electrification between 2021 and 2023, Associate editor of Journal of Electrical Engineering and other journals, specially invited editor in chief of Journal of Power Supply, mainly engaged in the research of new energy in the field of transportation electrification and energy Internet.
The application of power systems represented by lithium batteries, solar cells, and hydrogen fuel cells in transportation systems such as electric aircraft is increasing day by day. Among them, hydrogen fuel cells have received more and more attention in the field of new energy transportation electrification due to their zero emissions, long lifespan, and high energy density. With technological progress and industrial upgrading, the performance requirements of electric aircraft in remote and long endurance are also increasing in the future. The report focuses on the technical research of key components of energy power systems for high-altitude and long endurance electric aricraft, mainly including power systems, onboard power transmission and distribution systems, and electric propulsion systems.
