Lecture Summary

Recently, digital twin technology is an interesting and hot topic for high-end equipment manufacturing and maintenance. For railway transportation, electric traction drives system is the heart of high-speed EMUs or locomotives, which is consist of single-phase AC-DC PWM rectifiers, three-phase DC-AC inverters, and motor drive system. Its service status monitoring and safety are the focus of attention in the field of rail transit. Thus, this topic will focus on the application of digital twin technology in electric traction system. we will discuss how to develop the digital twin model of the electric traction drives system, how to use this model to monitor the health status of the key comments, and to realize the parameter identification and fault diagnosis.
